Welcome to Beat The Heat, Medley Chapter

Beat The Heat, Inc. is a "Cops & Kids" oriented program which brings young people together with the police officers who are there to help them. It gives cops & kids an opportunity to closely interact with each other so that each group can learn things that will really make a difference for both groups in the community.

The theme of Beat The Heat is "racing for education". Three of the four goals specifically state a goal for educating the public. Many of the problems of our society today stem from a lack in education and understanding.

Police attempt to get adults to use their heads and think before they do something, but it is difficult to get their attention. However, we can get the attention of the young people by using the racing police cars, and they are eager to listen. We encourage young people to STAY IN SCHOOL AND OFF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL.

Participation in this program is a great deal of fun. We invite everyone to participate and enjoy the good fun and fellowship. Check out the schedule of upcoming events and try to be there. You'll be glad you attended. Beat The Heat, Inc. is a non-profit corporation recognized as tax exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. All donations are tax deductible.
